My first portrait of a simply beautiful and powerful Lioness titled 'Roar' and is one of a pair that will compliment each other.   Sadly their numbers are in decline and are now classed as 'Vulnerable'.  This is beyond sad.  These are fast becoming my favourite of all the animals to complete.
 
Completed on Saunders Waterford Watercolour paper, a beautiful cotton paper allowing the colours to stand out perfectly, double mounted and framed in a simple black frame with an muted gold inner trim, which sets off her beautiful colouring perfectly.
